Request to Plant a Tree

On an annual basis, the City of Stratford’s Community Services Forestry Division plants trees in new sub-divisions, parks and established neighbourhoods. Residents are welcome to make a request to have a tree planted by the City on the front of properties.

Many factors about the requested planting site are taken into account. These considerations determine;

  1. the possibility of a tree being planted on the property
  2. the type of tree species best suited for the location

To request a tree planting on your property, please fully complete the following application. Currently, there are no charges to have a tree planting.

Are you the Owner of the Requested Tree Planting site?

Application Review

Once your application has been received and reviewed by staff, the manager of parks and forestry and/or a staff designate will determine if a tree installation is viable, including the type of tree species to be planted and its location.
